The 10th Trimpley Heavy Horse festival is on Sunday 29th July 2012. We are already planning for this year’s show and are looking forward to welcoming new and old visitors. The show opens at 10.30 on Sunday 29th July and will close at approximately 4.30. As always there will be plenty to see and do to keep you entertained. There will be tractor and trailer rides, horse and cart rides, donkey rides, fun fair, trade stands, refreshments, car boot, dog show, art displays and of course the wonderful heavy horses. The foals will be in the stables ready to meet you and there will be lots going on in the working field where you can stand and watch these beautiful creatures at work, as they used to do, ploughing and muck spreading. So please come along and help support us in raising awareness of the Suffolk Punch Horse, which is rarer than the Chinese Panda. All proceeds of the show are donated to several local charities as well as the Suffolk Punch Horse Society.
It makes a wonderful day out for both young and old. Looking forward to seeing you in the summer.
Hi, just wanted to say that we had a brilliant day today. My daughter loves the horses, she wanted one (told het to wait a couple of years, she’s only 2).My son loved the tractor and trailer ride. My partner and I enjoyed looking at the horses and other animals an the prices were not breaking the bank. Wich makes a nice chance. Thanks

This was a wonderful day out. The perfect summer’s day…! Warm (but not scorching), relaxed, happy – we never heard a child have a tantrum all day -and the chance to see beautiful animals in an idyllic setting. What more could anyone want?
